Hailing from the heart of Western Canada’s modern music scene, where innovation meets nostalgia, an exciting new band is emerging, Freeze the Fall isn’t just a band; they’re a force of nature, blending lyrically compelling narratives with edgy, hard-hitting rock reminiscent of the grungy rock era of the early 90’s. Founded by Quinn (17), Aria (15), and Jonah (15), Freeze the Fall embodies the essence of extraordinary musicianship. With Quinn leading the charge on vocals and guitar, Aria providing the thunderous basslines and backup vocals, and Jonah keeping the rhythm solid on drums, this trio is carving out a unique space in the music world. Their journey began with a shared passion for creating music that resonates with the soul. Drawing inspiration from the world around them, and musical giants like; Spiritbox, Bring me the Horizon, Architects, The Warning and more, Freeze the Fall crafts songs that speak to the human experience in all its complexities.
Each member brings their own unique flair to the table. Quinn’s emotive vocals and blistering guitar riffs command attention, Aria’s intricate bass lines fill out the trio’s sound adding depth and groove, while her haunting backup vocals provide the perfect complement to Quinn’s lead. And Jonah, whose powerhouse drumming and epic drum fills drive the band forward with relentless energy and precision. Together, they create a sound that is both familiar and fresh, paying homage to the grunge scene of the ’90s while pushing the boundaries of angsty modern rock teetering on melodic metal.
As they continue to defy expectation with each song from their debut EP, THRONES, Freeze the Fall shows no signs of slowing down. With every new song, they push the limits of their creativity, inviting listeners to join them on a journey through the depths of the human experience. So strap in, turn up the volume, and prepare to be swept away by the musical mastery of Freeze the Fall.
