Vox Rea shares the acoustic video of “When You Go” | Canadian Beats
Following the release of Vox Rea‘s nostalgic new single, “When You Go,” the Vancouver noir-pop outfit has stripped the track back for a special live performance video of the song, released earlier this week. Filmed on a trip to Portland, OR, the group’s fine artistry shines through with raw, crystalline vocals accompanied by delicate guitar.
On sharing the video, the band notes:
“When You Go is one of our favourite songs off the upcoming album and it was so nice to play it together after this last year apart. Shout out to our buddy Andrew Allen for his beautiful filming.”
The group reintroduced themselves under their new name last fall with immediate reception and garnering over 400K Spotify streams since their debut. Following their debut release “Dose Me Up“, sophomore single “Sinatra” enveloped the group’s abstract aesthetic, creating an ethereal space for listeners seeking an escape. Vox Rea have continued momentum throughout 2021 with releases such as “Reset” and “I’m Free”, which transcend listeners with their unique ambience and eclectic soundscape. The group recently collaborated with European artist/producer Johnny Chicago on the euro-pop track “I Can’t Help Myself.
