Andrew Hyatt Releases New EP, L Is For
CANADIAN COUNTRY ARTIST ANDREW HYATT SHARES HIS VERY POWERFUL AND RAW WITH EMOTION ACOUSTIC EP L IS FOR AND WILL TELL HIS STORY ON HIS UPCOMING COUNTRY MIXTAPE TOUR
Award-winning Canadian country star Andrew Hyatt has unveiled his highly anticipated, EP L Is For via 604 Records and all streaming platforms.
Produced by Derek Hoffman (Arkells, Silverstein, The Trews), L Is For is a collection of five acoustic tracks that focus on Hyatt’s experience with separation and betrayal. The EP showcases a more personal side to him with each song offering a vulnerable and emotional narrative. The EP’s title track, “L Is For,” tells the story of how Hyatt’s marriage came to fall apart and sets the tone for the rest of the record. This EP is full of insightful lyrics, honest reflections, and accepting loss along with raw moments that describe the pain Hyatt has experienced this past year.
Hyatt shares,
“L Is For … is easily my most-personal record to date. In the last 12 months, I’ve been through hell. I used writing as a tool for healing and every song on this record is a separate stage of coming to terms with a separation and betrayal. This music was written as a way of dealing with the hurt and lows, I never intended to release these songs but through many conversations with my team and friends I feel that maybe they can help others with healing.”
Hyatt is looking forward to continuing to share more of his story on the newly announced co-headline Country Mixtape Tour alongside rising Canadian country stars Shawn Austin and Tyler Joe Miller.
Hyatt says of the tour,
“I’m looking forward to letting people see what the three of us are bringing to this show. There’s a brotherhood and cohesiveness to the experience, all while individually bringing our distinct sounds.”
